Arkansas Black Apple Tree
Arkansas Black Apple Tree
Zone: 5-8
Height and Width: 15-20 ft H x 5-10 ft W.
Arkansas Black Apple has very good resistance to the Cedar Rust Fungus. Therefore, it is a good choice for our area of Oklahoma since there are an abundance of Cedar trees. These are grafted to a semi-dwarf root stock so you can expect the tree to grow to about 20 feet tall and wide. It will need plenty of watering help in the summer, especially in the first few years while it is establishing. Apples have very good heat and drought tolerance. You will need to check pollinator charts to see which other varieties are good pollinators for this.
At this time, these are for local pick-up only. We will beat the big box stores on their prices. We are a very small, family business, so we will have to arrange the pickup. Delivery may be possible, depending on where you are.
