TWO- #1 Gallon Kaliedescope Abelia (Abelia x grandiflora) Shrubs
Kaliedescope Abelia Shrubs #1 Gallon Nursery Pots (technically .66 gallon)
Abelia x grandiflora
Easily grown in average, medium, well-drained soil in full sun to part shade. Best flowering is in full sun. Prefers moist, organically rich soils which drain well. Evergreen in the South, but generally deciduous in the St. Louis area where stems may suffer substantial damage (including dying to the ground) in cold winters.
Dense and compact, this tidy and elegant summer-flowering shrub has small, shiny, evergreen leaves that become purplish-green in cold weather. Clusters of white tubular flowers bloom prolifically at stem ends. Occasional tip pruning encourages reblooming until fall frost. Grows 2 to 3 feet tall and 3 to 4 feet wide.
Hardiness Zone: 6-9
