We ship in small containers, about 18oz plastic cups. This helps greatly to almost eliminate transplant shock. Many species of trees do not have a good survival rate when transplanted bare-root. This also allows you to plant your trees faster. These trees have been acclimated to the hot sun, but shouldn't be placed immediately into the sun again when received. Just slide out of container or cut container and plant. Make sure to water 2-3 times a week for the first year or so.

Spiraea prunifolia, commonly called bridalwreath spirea, is a species of the genus Spiraea, sometimes spelled Spirea. It blooms in the spring, around May 5th, and is native to Japan, Korea, and China. It is quite showy when in full bloom. It is sometimes used as a garden plant elsewhere. It is a deciduous shrub with an upright, arching habit. It grows to at least four feet tall and wide. It is grown in zones 4-9 and is very hardy.

*Due to the Japanese Beetle Quarantine, all orders will be shipped bare-root to: AZ, CA, ID, MT, NV, OR, UT, WA, unless buyer is willing to pay the $5 Phytosanitary Certification Fee.
